Jing Loong Shan Wan Foh Shih Monastery is located in the outskirts of Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia, covering a total area of over 20 acres, with approximately 5 acres currently developed. Founded over 40 years ago by Venerable Master Wen De, the monastery was later taken over by the abbot, Venerable Master Wen Tong. With great determination and vision, Master Wen Tong led the monastics and devotees in overcoming numerous challenges, transforming the once modest wooden temple into today's magnificent and majestic dharma assembly site. The monastery has a branch, Jing Shan Shih, also known as Golden Mountain Temple, located in Jinjang North, Kuala Lumpur. The main buildings of Jing Loong Shan Wan Foh Shih Monastery include the Buddha Shrine Hall, Hall of Heavenly Kings, Hall of Great Compassion, Hall of Ksitigarbha (Di Zang Hall) and the Memorial Tower (Columbarium). Regular Dharma activities include the Ten Thousand Bhddhas Repentance, the Emperor Liang Jewel Repentance, Sutra and Repentance Group Practice Session, the Eight Precepts Retreat, and charity events. The monastery also hosts Water and Land Great Deliverance Grand Puja, the Teachings of the Five Precepts and Bodhisattva Precepts, Fo Qi of seven-day retreat, pilgrimages to Buddhist Holy Land, and Buddhist retreat for youth.
Jing Loong Shan Wan Foh Shih Monastery remains steadfast in its mission to promote the Buddha's teachings, uphold the Dharma, and to guide and benefit all beings.
